mini cds summer 2018

My first “real” blog post! Starting with an old favorite.

This is a batch of four 3-inch mini cds that I created for my Bicephalic Records label back in 2018. These were to be the final physical releases made for the label. The 3-inch mini cd format is my favorite physical music format. The size is small and easy to work with. And with a maximum audio length of around 20 minutes, they are the perfect length for weird experimental releases. Maybe one day I’ll return to making these again, if the materials are still available.

Each cd has black and white glitched geometric artwork printed on cardstock. The images are all sourced from screenshots of an abstract video that I made. The discs themselves were printable white discs literally hand-stamped with ink. The whole whole package came in a durable vinyl sleeve.
